My Bloody Valentine frontman Kevin Shields has revealed that fans can expect a new EP from the band which will 'come out sometime' amongst other exciting releases.
In a rare interview, Shields told Pitchfork that the Irish four-piece have three unheard tracks from the mvb sessions that will be released as they look to start recording a new record in 2014.
Speaking of the band's plans, Shields told Pitchfork: “The next step is to make an EP of all-new material. The main plan for next year is to make a new record."
If that wasn't enough to excite MVB fans across the globe, Shields went on to discuss some reissues that the collective will be working on.
He added: "I’m also going to re-master Loveless and Isn’t Anything and all the EPs in analog to make pure analog cuts, which has never happened before.
"And I hate to say this because we haven’t set it up yet, but we want to do a site where everyone who bought a record would be able to stream various other things we put up, like an old recording of when I first experimented with pitch-bending back in ‘81."
