Fans have taken to Twitter to give an overwhelmingly postive reaction to Katy Perry's new single 'Roar'. See some of the comments below. 

The track leaked over the weekend ahead of its official unveiling today (Monday 12 August). Listen to the track below. 

'Roar' is a smooth and rolling punch of uplifting stadium power-pop, that sees Perry squaring up to the world and moving away from the bubblegum nature of her Teenage Dream material. 

The single is the first to be taken from Perry's upcoming third studio album, Prism, which is currently being promoted by a giant, golden truck driving around America.
