V Festival weather: unsettled weather in both Chelmsford and Stafford

This weekend's V Festival is set for some unsettled weather as the recent heatwave takes a break for this weekend's double-header in Chelmsford and Staffordshire.

V festival will see the likes of Beyonce, Kings Of Leon, Calvin Harris, Jessie J, Emeli Sande, The Vaccines, The Script and many more perform, but it's likely to be a slightly damp weekend, with light rain expected at both locations.

Hylands Park, Chelmsford

Saturday is expected to remain overcast and mild, although temperatures could soar to 28 degrees. No rain is expected on Saturday at Hylands Park.

Sunday sees the arrival of unsettled conditions, with sunshine and showers yet again prevailing through the day, which is expected to pass by late evening. Weston Park weather below.


V Festival is set to experienced a mix of weather conditions this weekend

Weston Park, Staffordshire

Saturday in Stafford will see a mix of sunshine and showers, and with decidedly cooler temperatures than Chelmsford, which are expect to reach no higher than 21 degrees. The light rain will continue into the night.

Sunday is set to see the same conditions, but with rain easing towards the end of the evening. Temperatures are set to remain moderate, with the possibility of a drop to single figures overnight.
