Lady Gaga has revealed she will open this year's iTunes festival, performing a free gig for fans in London on 1 September 2013 - and claims the gig will be made up of nothing but new material.
The star has promised she will play nothing but new music during her headline slot, pulling tracks from her upcoming ARTPOP album release instead of digging to her back catalogue to perform the hits.

Fans have already enjoyed an early taste of ARTPOP, after Lady Gaga bowed to the pressure of hackers and has premiered the full version of her new single 'Applause'. Listen below.
Last week, her track 'Burqa' appeared online ahead of release. When asked by fans what she thought of the leak, she replied simply: "Please take these down as much as possible."
Alongside Elton John, Kings Of Leon and Justin Timberlake, Gaga is one of the biggest names on the 2013 iTunes festival line-up, which sees free gigs taking place throughout September at the North London venue.
