The singer donned a typically varied range of costumes to perform a set packed with all her hits including 'Irreplaceable', 'Naughty Girl', '1+1' and 'Why Don't You Love Me'.
After causing a media frenzy recently with her short-cut pixie crop hair style, last night she apaeared sporting a sleek blonde bob.
Beyonce closed her set with a performance of fan-favourite 'Halo', and will hit the stage again tonight at V Festival's other location in Staffordshire's Weston Park. The star infamously banned photographers from her Mrs Carter tour earlier this year, after her Super Bowl performance was mocked online, and she became the subject of a mildly amusing internet meme comparinig her appearance to Marvel comics' She Hulk character.
Fans were quick to take to Twitter to let everyone know how impressed thet were, with fans tweeting that Bey was 'amazing', with Les Misérables star Samantha Barks tweeting: "Had the best time @vfestival yesterday! Beyonce once again blew my mind #sheisqueen."
