Dance duo of the moment Disclosure are apparently keen to work with Kendrick Lamar, one of the most acclaimed rappers of 2012.
The fraternal pair were asked if they’d be interested in working with anyone from the States while answering a series of questions compiled from suggestions from NME’s Twitter fans.
“Definitely!” they replied.
“Stuff we’re working on is secret, but we’re listening to loads of Kendrick at the moment.”
Disclosure have made a name for themselves with their collaborative tracks, which have previously featured the likes of Jessie Ware and AlunaGeorge, but are yet to work with a big name rapper.
Kendrick himself, meanwhile, has been stirring the pot a little with an apparently incendiary verse on Big Sean’s ‘Control’, which won’t make Sean’s album due to issues with sample clearance.

During his verse Lamar calls himself ‘the King Of New York’ and offers a direct challenge to Jermaine Cole, Big K.R.I.T., Wale, Pusha T, Meek Mill A$AP Rocky, Draske, Big Sean, Jay Electronica, Tyler, The Creator, and Mac Miller, explaining “I’ve got love for you all/ but I’m trying to murder you ni**as.”
Perhaps Lamar is justified in his confidence though, having recently topped MTV’s Hottest MCs in the World list based on his rhyme skill, flow, buzz, commercial success, business ventures, web presence and cultural influences.
