Kanye West will be relieved to hear that he won’t be facing felony charges over a scuffle with a photographer at an airport last month.
Footage of the July 19 incident at LAX showed West confronting a photographer, who’d apparently made a comment that aggrovated the rapper, and then wrestling him to the ground.
The photographer reportedly suffered no serious injuries and it’s unclear if his camera was damaged.
But although the L.A. district attorney’s office decided not to file felony charges, they have referred it to the city attorney who may still decide to file a misdemeanor charge, The Associated Press reports.

The district attorney’s office also noted West’s lack of a felony record in it’s decision not to file charges.
Kanye released Yeezus at the start of the summer to mixed responses, though many have praised singles ‘Black Skinhead’ and ‘New Slaves’, as well as Kanye’s risk taking on the album.
