Calvin Harris has been involved in a Twitter spat with Reverend & The Makers' frontman Jon McClure - with the Sheffield star claiming that the DJ 'just presses play'.

Harris took to the social networking site to talk about his set at this weekend's V Festival when McClure, known for his outspoken Twitter antics, responded by questioning his efforts and talent.

The 'Heavyweight Champion Of The World' singer referred to a t-shirt he owned which reads 'Calvin Harris just presses play' before the millionaire DJ replied that he is more successful - at which point McClure simply put: "Hitler was popular."

McClure has also spent much of the morning attacking X Factor girl band Little Mix, who are celebrating their second anniversary:

Last week, Calvin Harris was revealed to have earned a modest £30million in the past 12 months, making the Scottish producer the highest earning DJ on the planet. Tiesto was named second in the annual Forbes list, with a paltry £20million pocketed in the same period.

Calvin Harris and Tiesto will be embarking on a joint UK tour this December. Live dates are below:

Weds 18th Belfast Odyssey Arena
Thurs 19th Dublin O2 Arena
Fri 20th London Earls Court
Sat 21st Manchester Manchester Phones 4 U Arena
Sun 22nd Glasgow Hydro Arena

Tickets for the tour go on sale at 10am on Friday 23 August 2013. For more information, visit Gigwise Gig Tickets.
