The Weeknd has announced the UK release date of his feverishly anticipated new album, Kiss Land, while will drop on our shores next month.
The follow-up to Abel Tesfaye's Trilogy series will be released on 9 September, 2013. The Canadian R&B sensation has been releasing a relentless stream of new material in recent months, including his remix of 'Royals' by Lorde, album track 'Love In The Sky', title track 'Kiss Land', alongside the brilliant 'Belong To The World' as well as collaborations with Kavinsky, Juicy J and Ricky Hill. This week, he also revealed a collaboration with Drake in the form of 'Live For', taken from the album.
After 2011's epic Trilogy, 10 tracks seems like a a meagre amount for Tesfaye. However, with an upcoming date at London's O2 Arena, one can assume that it's a case of quality over quantity that will push The Weeknd into the mainstream spotlight.
