US superstar Beyonce has been criticised by Travis frontman Fran Healy for her backstage behaviour at last weekend's V Festival.
Beyonce headlined both weekend's of V Festival this year, along with American rockers Kings Of Leon. Beyonce was booed by fans during her Chelmsford show when she took to the stage 30 minutes late, and it has now been revealed that she wasn't popular backstage either.
"Beyoncé locked down the entire backstage area for an hour. Everyone was affected," says Travis frontman Fran Healy, in speaking to The Daily Record.
"You'd ask 'Can I just go there?' and they'd say 'No. You can't cross this little street.'
"Everyone was just following orders from the gang. I guess that's how Americans do it but it's not how we do it in the UK."
"She was headlining the main stage and was half an hour late," he added. "The whole area was cut off as if there had been a nuclear disaster."
