The reunion was led by Justin Timberlake, who has become one of the biggest pop stars on the planet since his boyband days. He received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award at the VMAs, which is the ceremony's equivalent of a lifetime achievement.
After a run through of his solo hits including 'Sexyback', 'Like I Love You' and 'My Love', 'Cry Me A River' and 'Rock Your Body' (during which he told the audience "I still run this bitches," he was joined by his N Sync bandmates on stage.
Joey Fatone, Lance Bass, JC Chasez and Chris Kirkpatrick joined Timberlake to perform their hits 'Girlfriend' and 'Bye Bye Bye' to a wild response from the audience.
