Miley Cyrus is currently dominated the US iTunes chart with two tracks after her already infamous appearance at the MTV VMA awards.

Her 'twerking' incident has caused controversy around the world, after she delivered a highly sexual performance in a flesh-coloured bikini with Robin Thicke. But it seems that all publicity is good publicity after all, as she currently stands at No.2 with 'Wrecking Ball' and 'We Can't Stop' comes in at No.5. Meanwhile, Katy Perry remains at No.1 with 'Roar'  while Lady Gaga and Robin Thicke complete the top 5.

In the UK, 'We Can't Stop' is at No.4 in the iTunes chart.

The formerly squeaky-clean teen pop sensation had already caused controversy with 'We Can't Stop' due to its explicit content.

The track includes the line 'dancing with Molly' - which is a reference to MDMA, with Cyrus previously confirming that she does indeed mention the rave drug in the track. "I don't think people have a hard time understanding that I've grown up," she told The Daily Mail recently. "You can Google me and you know what I'm up to - you know what that lyric is saying."
