Angel Haze has premiered her new single 'Echelon (It's My Way)' - and it is a complete triumph. Listen to the track below.
Taken from the New York rapper's long-awaited debut album, Dirty Gold, the track was given its world premiere on Zane Lowe's Radio One show last night (27 August, 2013). The track mixes dark, restrained electronic beats with Haze's distinctive, no-nonsense flow. The track breaks into a heavenly chorus, making for an eclectic, ambitious and hugely successful release.

Since her arrival on the music scene, where she was among the artists on the BBC Sound of 2013 list, she has been pitted against fellow female rap newcomers Azealia Banks and Iggy Azalea. Haze maintains she has no interest in competing with others or rap rivalries.
"I don't really give a shit about any of this," she told Gigwise at Reading Festival. "I just do everything I do for my fans and for myself - I don't do the competition."
