Justin Timberlake and Kanye West have laid their feud to rest after a reconcilation at the weekend's MTV VMA Awards.

Back in February, Yeezy took a shot at JT's track 'Suit And Tie' - a collaboration with West's close friend Jay Z. Kanye told the audience at one of his shows: "I got love for Hov, but I ain’t fucking with that ‘Suit & Tie’.”

Timberlake then responded during a performing on US TV show SNL by changing the 'Suit And Tie' lyric of 'shit so sick got a hit and picked up a habit' to 'my hits so sick got rappers acting dramatic'.

Now, in an interview with Sway In The Morning, JT says that they spoke at the weekend's VMA ceremony, where both artists performed and Timberlake joined his former band N*Sync on stage.

“At the end of the day it’s just music,” said Timberlake. “I love the record, I love ‘Suit & Tie.’ It reminds me of the music I grew up listening to. I respect his opinion because I think he’s a genius, but I don’t share that opinion. It’s just not that big of deal. To do it at SNL too is like - it’s not that big of deal.”

He added: "I told [Kanye], ‘I fuck with you, in a way that you probably don’t even understand. I get what you do. We’ve never worked together, so I don’t think that he fully understands what it is that I can do. I love Yeezus, I love that album. I think he’s ahead of a lot, especially in his genre. I think people are going to appreciate it a lot more in the future.”

When asked if the pair were likely to collaborate in future, Timberlake responded:"Well, the best way I know how to do that is for us to just sit down and play music.”

Justin Timberlake is set to release his next album The 20/20 Experience Part 2 on 30 September. Earlier this week it emerged that Jay Z will feature on the track 'Murder' and Drake will feature on 'Carbaret'.

Speaking to US radio station Hot 97, JT said: "Drake and I have been trying to get at each other about doing a record, and I think we'll probably do more as time goes on as well. He killed it."

The full tracklisting is:
1 Gimme What I Don’t Know (I Want)
