Azealia Banks has hit back at critics, laughing off ongoing claims that she is 'over' amid ongoing delays of her upcoming debut album, Broke With Expensive Taste.
The 'ATM Jam' rapper will perform a huge, Brixton Academy show in November of this year, and is expected to release her debut album before the end of 2013 - although no release date has been set. She has announced a second Fantasea mixtape (titled The Second Wave), fuelling rumours that Broke With Expensive Taste will be delayed once again.
She has also hit out at Lady Gaga this week, claiming the 'Applause' singer has copied the under the sea theme for her iTunes Festival gig this weekend in London from her own Mermaid's Ball gigs which took place in 2012.
"The Internets are so bored," she wrote on Twitter, after backlash over her comments. "So funny how many times my career was supposed to "over" because of things I say. "People get so mad at me because the things i say are almost always accurate."

Banks had also hit out at musicians writing tracks about their favourite fashion brands, following the news that Lady Gaga had penned a track on her new album ARTPOP titled 'Donatella'.
"It's interesting to see how the music industry is so inspired by the fashion industry now... It used to be the other way around," she also wrote.
"Musicians are writing full on Ode's to fashion houses, when it seems as though entire seasons would inspired by actresses and musicians."
Azealia Banks will perform a headline show at London's Brixton Academy on 30 November, 2013. For more information visit Gigwise Gig Tickets.
