Last week, the Canadian stars confirmed that they were behind the worldwide Reflektor campaign, with graffiti appearing across various cities and being posted via an Instagram account of the same name. It is currently uncertain whether Reflektor is the name of the album, the first single, or both, but we now know that the first new material will be aired on Monday evening.
The musical director of Australian radio station Triple J tweeted:
Next Monday (9th) at 9pm EST we will have the new single from Arcade Fire to play for you.

A 15 second clip of what is believed to be the new single can also be heard on Spotify
Reflektor is set for release on 29th October this year, with former LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy behind production of the some of the tracks..
In an interview with Billboard magazine, the producer commented: "When you work on a record you don’t know any of the things around it. So when it comes out I’ll just be like, 'The Arcade Fire record’s out — oh, right!'"
Murphy claimed it has been "the food I eat and the air I breathe."
