A lawsuit has been filed against rapper Lupe Fiasco over his alleged links to a convincted drug dealer.
The Chicago hip-hop star is being sued by Inita Patton - the estranged wife of Charles 'Chilly' Patton, who is a partner in Lupe's 1st And 15th Records and executive producer on his debut album, Food & Liquor. 'Chilly' is currently serving a 44-year sentence for posession of heroin after being accused of heading a drug ring in 2007.
Now, TMZ reports that Patton's ex-wife is taking Lupe Fiasco to court after accusing the rapper of conspiring with Patton to hide over $9million of 'illicit' earnings in secret bank accounts - arguing that Lupe was 'instrumental' in the scam to prevent her seizing the assets as part of their divorce settlement.
Lupe Fiasco's lawyers deny all allegations, claiming to have no knowledge of "secret accounts and no illicit instructions.”
