Arcade Fire have finally confirmed that new material from their eagerly awaited forthcoming album will be available on September 9th at 9pm.
The announcement revealed that an official music video for the new single 'Reflektor' will be premiered online and an EP will be available for fans to purchase.
The news follows a long period of speculation over the band's mysterious advertising campaign which has consisted of circular graphic symbols spelling out "Reflektor" that have been popping up in cities across the world.
The band previewed new music in an instrumental video, revealed online earlier this week. See the teaser below.

The video for the album's leading single 'Reflektor' is being directed by Anton Corbijin who has previously directed videos for the likes of U2, Coldplay and Nirvana.
