Queens Of The Stone Age have paid tribute to Arctic Monkeys, performing a cover version of their current hit single 'Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High' for Radio One's Live Lounge. See the performance below.

Wearing sunglasses for the BBC session, Josh Homme and co played an acoustic version of the track, although Homme seemed a little less than committed to his performance, seeming restless in his seat while apparently reading lyrics from a sheet in front of him.

Both bands perform at this year's iTunes Festival, with Queens Of The Stone Age headlining the event on Friday, 6 September 2013 while Arctic Monkeys will headline on Monday, 9 September 2013.

Arctic Monkeys perform on the day their new album, AM, is released in the UK. It includes 'Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High', 'Do I Wanna Know' and 'R U Mine'.
