Electro outfit Moderat have been forced to postpone upcoming European tour dates after band member Apparat suffered injuries in a motorcycle accident.
The German electronic star took to the band's official Facebook page to say that he and his girlfriend were involved in an incident over the weekend, and that it would 'take him a few months to learn to walk again'. He also cleverly paraphrased the lyrics to 'Airbag' by Radiohead.
"I’m sorry, after a motorcycle accident last Saturday I will have to cancel all Moderat shows," said Apparat. "Considering the circumstances my girlfriend and I are OK, but it’ll take me a few months to learn how to walk again. The alternate tour dates are already on the Moderat.fm page. I hope to see you there!"
He added: "In an interstellar burst, I’m amazed that i survived.”
