Swedish DJ Avicii has released a 90 second preview of his hugely anticipated new track 'Lay Me Down', which features the combined talents of Chic legend Nile Rodgers and former American Idol contestant Adam Lambert.
Avicii has recently enjoyed success with anthem 'Wake Me Up!', which is the UK's fastest selling single of 2013, whilst legendary hitmaker Nile Rodgers has been propelled back into the spotlight this summer after he featured on Daft Punk's smash hit 'Get Lucky'.
Of their decision to work with Adam Lambert, Nile Rodgers said "I need someone to do a lead vocal so I call Adam Lambert." Avicii added, "I really fell in love with his voice. He just captured something on that first take."
The song itself is a thumping disco tune which features Nile Rodger's ubitiquous funky guitar riffs, and is bound to be another hit for Avicii.
