Paramore's self-titled, No.1 album has reached gold status in the UK, and the band's frontwoman Hayley Williams has taken to Instagram to share her excitement at the achievement.
The album was released on 9 April 2013, and gave the US trio their second No.1 album in the UK. It also topped the charts in America, Australia, Ireland and New Zealand - among others. The BPI issue Gold discs to bands whose albums have sold over 100,000 copies in the UK.
Williams posted a celebratory photo on Instagram with the simple message: "Gold in the UK! #paramore." See the image below.
Hayley Williams has dropped her usual rock sounds for a new collaboration with dance producer Zedd, which was revealed online this week. Listen to the track below.

Williams is no stranger to collaborations, having previously enjoyed huge success with her 2010 collaboration with rapper BOB, 'Airplanes'. The track hit No.1 in the UK and No.2 in America.
