Vampire Weekend have been announced as guest editors of free newspaper the Metro for one day only tomorrow. But before you get excited, it's unfortunately not London's Metro - it's published in New York, Philadelphia and Boston.
The New York quartet - consisting of Ezra Koenig, Chris Tomson, Rostam Batmanglij, and Chris Baio - will be "curating a special section devoted to the best foods of New York City", a press statement from the band revealed.
Here's hoping it's written in the style of lead singer Koenig's eclectic Twitter feed, which has gained a cult following for quips such as 'ur watching old Naruto, I'm eating aged prosciutto'.

The band return to the UK to head out on a full UK tour this November, supported by Noah & The Whale. The dates are:
