Lily Allen is to kick off her musical comeback with a duet with Robbie Williams.
The 28-year-old Londoner announced her return to music last week, changing her Twitter handle from her married name @lilyrosecooper to @lilyallen.
She retired from music in 2009, but has now recorded a version of ‘Dream A Little Dream’ with the former Take That singer the Daily Express reports.
Allen admits she was slightly nervous while she was recording the song, but is happy with the finished product and believes her version with Robbie does justice to the classic track.
She released her last album back in 2009, but recently revealed that she coud have new music ready to unveil by March 2014, saying the new record is “shaping up pretty well.”
Allen has already returned to the top end of the UK Singles chart after featuring on Pink’s ‘True Love’, which reached No. 16 in Lily’s home country.

At the start of this year Lily was apparently nervous about her return to music, worrying she’d left it too long since her retirement and saying her third album would be significantly different from he previous work.
But she seems to have put those concerns behind her as she gears up for her return.
