The reasons behind Britney Spears Las Vegas residency are clear - it's the cash. The 'Work Bitch' performer will reportedly earn $310,000 per gig when she begins her Las Vegas residency.
US reports from celebrity website TMZ state that each Britney Spears show in Vegas will make an estimated £508,514, meaning that the star will pocked the majority of all cash earned during her residency, which begins in December 2013. Spears' earnings can't compare to the cash earned by Celine Dion at her Las Vegas shows however, as the Canadian powerhouse pockets $476,000 at every show she performsn.
Spears' shows will be aiming for a different, more youth orientated audience than the likes of Dion or Barry Manilow with designers aiming for a 'cool, hip club-like show'.
