The BBC has denied tabloid reports that Kanye West demanded that carpets be ironed in his dressing room when he appered on the opening show of the new series of Later... With Jools Holland.
"This is all utter nonsense. It's wish fulfilment - people expect stars of his stature to make diva demands, but the truth is Kanye was great to work with. There were more flowers in the dressing room than usual, but that's it."

The Sun had also previously reported that the rapper, who appeared on the show to perform the track 'Bound 2 ' from latest album Yeezus along with singer Charlie Wilson, demanded white sheets for the walls and that his set be demolished and rebuilt.
An extended version of Later...will be shown tomorrow evening, with the apparent horticultural enthusiast also performing 'Blood On the Leaves' and 'New Slaves'.
