Ticket retailers have registered phenomenal demand online for One Direction tickets after the X Factor stars announced a new European tour and additional UK gigs.
The boyband this week announced new live shows in Sweden, Denmark, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Spain and Portugal and Gigwise's ticket partner Viagogo estimates there were over two thousand ticket searches per minute on their site for the new live dates.
"Announcing the European leg of their Where We Are tour has given Directioners another opportunity to get their hands on tickets to 1D’s biggest ever shows," says Viagogo spokesperson Steve Roest of the huge interest.
"As our data has illustrated, fans are even more determined to get tickets to see the boys this time round."
