The Kills have confirmed that they're working on new material and have announced an American tour for December.
The duo, consisting of Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince will be supporting Queens of the Stone Age in Brooklyn on the 14th December.
The week running up to this they will also be performing shows in Chicago, Detroit and Toronto, where it is believed they will play some of the material from the follow-up to 2011's critically-acclaimed Blood Pressures.

It is said that The Kills are also currently hard at work writing and recording their fifth studio album.
The full US tour dates are as follows:
December 9th - The Vic, Chicago
December 10th - The Majestic, Detroit
December 11th - The Danforth Music Hall, Toronto
December 14th - Barclays Center, Brooklyn (with Queens of the Stone Age)
