Kanye West apparently has no interest in countering his slightly megalomaniacal reputation with his recent interview with Zane Lowe, calling himself the world’s biggest rock star and asserting he can produce perfect records, if he wants to.
Although only a preview trailer of the interview has been unveiled so far, there’s plenty in there to whet fans’ appetites for the whole chat.
“I’m the number one rockstar on the planet,” Kanye tells Lowe in slightly aggressive tones.
He also asserts that his critically acclaimed album My Beautiful DArk Twisted Fantasy “could be considered perfect.
“I know how to make perfect, but that’s not what `I’m hear to do,” he adds.
He also preemptively responds to people reactions to the interview, telling Lowe: “People are gonna look at this interview and say, ‘I understand what he’s talking about’. People are gonna look at this interview and say, ‘I don’t like Kanye. Look, he looks mad, I don’t like his teeth’.”

In among the self-assured statements of success there looks to be plenty of Kanye’s typical eccentricities, including the statement that black men should never wear flip flops and instead “wear some hot ass Jordans on the beach.”
Needless to say, we’re all looking forward to the full interview.
