Daft Punk meets Will Smith, that surely is the dream. And a dream come true now in the form of this new mash-up of the 2013 hit ‘Get Lucky’. Hear the track below
The Daft Punk track is one of the most reworked, remixed, covered tracks in recent musical history, and we’re all starting to get a bit bored of it now.
But the addition of Smith’s ‘Getting Jiggy Wit It’ to the the smooth disco-tinged track by South Carolina DJ Arcade Jump actually makes for a pretty impressive version of the track.
While it might sound a humoursly implausible blend, the two tracks actually support and complement each other very well.
The video to ‘Getting Joggy Wit It’ is no less ridiculous than it was when it first appeared in 1998 to accompany the hit single, taken from Smith’s Big Willie Style.
