Icelandic trio, Sigur Ros recently headed to Paris to play a session for La Blogotheque and capture a brief taste of their new album Kveikur. Watch their performance below.

Somewhere underground in Paris, sits a magnificent cave that many would deem nothing but an empty space, but stick the triumphant Sigur Ros in there with violins and added percussionand you've got the setting for a mesmerising live session.

Though somewhat unusual, the location allows their powerful, ambient sounds to echo throughout the cave, making it actually an ideal location for Sigur Ros' music to flourish.
