'Roar' chart topper Katy Perry has named Bruno Mars as her dream choice for a future duet, despite having completed work on her third studio album, Prism.

Clearly planning the next stage of her globe spanning career, the US star names Mars as not only her dream collaboration partner, but also as the artist she aspires to be.

"I've always said I'd wanna collaborate with Rihanna, but I'd love to collaborate with Bruno Mars," she tells E! NEws.

"I always say, 'When I grow up, I wanna be the female version of Bruno Mars', cause he's so wildly talented in showing everybody that he has so much diversity in him."

Perry also added that controversial starlet Miley Cyrus was a possible choice for future work together, praising the youngster's vocal skills on current single, 'Wrecking Ball'.

"I have heard her sing 'Wrecking Ball' before that single came out and I tweeted about it a long time ago before it even came out and I was just so excited about it for her. She's got a set of pipes that are incredible," Perry added.
