30 Seconds To Mars frontman Jared Leto has revealed that he was offered the opportunity to direct a music video for Kanye West, but had to decline.

The 'Up In The Air' rocker, who is also famed as an actor and director, told the BBC his decision was purely down to time constraints, and that he was 'flatted' by the offer.

"I'd been asked by various people to direct videos, people like Kanye West have reached out, and that's always really flattering, but it's hard to find the time to do that for other people," said Leto. "Usually when I make a video, directing, editing, production, it takes me months and months and months, it's not really a short-term affair, so I tend to not really have the time to do it for other people. It'd be fun to, at some point, you never know."

Leto and West last worked together on 30 Seconds To Mars' track 'Hurricane 2.0' in 2010. Listen to the song below.

Kanye's European fans were delighted this week when he appeared on French TV show, Le Grand Journal, where it was confirmed that he would be bringing his Yeezus tour to the continent in 2014.
