Kanye West: 'My Truman Show boat has hit the wall'

Yeezy says he's here 'to f**k things up'

In a bizarre interview with BBC Radio One, Kanye West has opened up his view on his infamous rants - claming that his 'Truman Show boat has hit the wall'.

During an already infamous chat with DJ Zane Lowe which aired last night, Yeezy seems to be philosophically suggesting an air of self-awareness regarding his well-documented outbursts about his own talent and against the likes of Taylor Swift. See some of his most famous moments in the video above.

Referring to the the 1998 Jim Carrey film in which the main character becomes aware that he's being watched by millions, West said: "I've reached a moment in life where my Truman Show boat has hit the wall.

"There's no-one in this space that looks like me, if they are, they're quiet as fuck... I bought real rap back, I'm going to do dope things."

West also commented on his thinking behind his latest album, Yeezus, which has divided opinion among fans and critics for its harsh and experimental sound.

"For me as Kanye West, I got to fuck shit up," he said. "I'm going to take music and try to make it three dimensional… I'm not here to make easy listening, easily programmable music."

Kanye's European fans were delighted this week when he appeared on French TV show, Le Grand Journal, where it was confirmed that he would be bringing his Yeezus tour to the continent in 2014.
