Madonna premiered her short film last night, entitled secretprojectrevolution. Watch the video below.

The film was debuted on Youtube as well as in several outdoor locations around the world in London, Berlin, Toronto, LA, and New York City.

The pop legend made the film with photographer Steven Klein, and opens with Madonna making a dramatic statement: "Economic markets are collapsing, people all over the world are suffering and people are afraid and what happens when people are afraid? They become intolerant. They start pointing the finger at other people."

The pace continues with the 'Give Me All Your Luvin' singer elegantly shooting several attractive men and women, who procede to die in an elegant, arty way. The scene is sure to incite further controversy, considering just the stills caused an internet uproar.

Arty quotes from the likes of Jean Luc Godard pop up from time to time and it's very obvious that the film has "a message", although it's not quite clear what the message is. "I keep telling everyone i want to start a revolution but no one will take me seriously," Madge complains at one point.

According to the Youtube description, secretprojectrevolution "launches Art ForFreedom, a global initiative to further freedom of expression, created by Madonna, curated by VICE, and distributed by BitTorrent."

Madonna's previous forays into film haven't been well recieved, with her most recent, W.E, universally panned by critics and audiences alike.
