Kasabian frontman Tom Meighan has teamed up with former Oasis drummer Zak Starkey's new band Penguinrising to play a series of gigs in October.
The band, in which Starkey plays guitar, is completed by drummer Javier Wayler and frontman Sshh Liguz. Kasabian singer Tom Meighan will make guest appearances as a DJ at their London and Manchester shows.
Penguinrising's London date will coincide with the release of Penguinrising's debut single 'HateMale'.

Penguinrising will play:
October 12th - Queen of Hoxton, London
October 19th - FAC251, Manchester
Kasabian are also tipped to headline Glastonbury 2014 alongside the likes of Fleetwood Mac Depeche Mode, Elbow and more.
