Arctic Monkeys have had a hugely successful 2013, but No.1 albums and headlining Glastonbury aren't quite enough for frontman Alex Turner, who has nothing short of global domination planned.

The 'Do I Wanna Know' rocker has revealed his hopes for the Sheffield band to the become the biggest band in the world, with plans for spectacular live shows to steer them on their way to their goal.

"Do we want to be the biggest band in the world? I dunno," he says in a new interview with Q magazine, before becoming more determined in his aspirations. "Do we want the 3D fucking live show? Maybe. I wouldn't mind being in 3D. Fuck it.

"Yeah we do want to be the biggest band in the world. I want a f***ing zip line."

In June 2013, Arctic Monkeys headlined Glastonbury festival, alongside The Rolling Stones and Mumford & Sons. New album AM topped the UK charts with first week sales that rivalled even Daft Punk's Random Access Memories numbers, and even hit the US Top Ten.
