Kings Of Leon have scored their fourth UK No.1 album with latest release Mechanical Bull, beating big names including Drake and Jessie J to the top spot in a week of huge new releases.

The US rockers previously topped the UK album charts with Because The Times in 2007, Only By The Night in 2008 and Come Around Sundown in 2010. Mechanical Bull knocks Arctic Monkeys' AM from the No.1 album after two weeks on top.

New at No.2 is Drake's hugely anticipated new album, Nothing Was The Same, and the Canadian star has beaten rap superstars Jay Z and Kanye West to become the fastest selling rap album of 2013 so far. New at No.3 is Jessie J's second album Alive, Arctic Monkeys are at No.4 with AM and current singles chart topper Jason Derulo enters at No.5 with Tattoos.

Birdy enters with her second album Fire Within at No.8 and Scottish electro trio Chvrches debut at No.9 with their first full-length, The Bones Of What You Believe.

Sting enters at No.14 with with The Last Ship, Dream Theatre's self-titled release is new at No.15, Mazzy Star's Seasons Of Your Day enters at No.24, Nirvana's In Utero re-release is at No.28 and New Model Army enter at No.34 with Between Dog And Wolf.

The week's highest new entry comes from Sub Focus with his Kele Okereke collaboration 'Turn It Around', which enters at No.14.

Haim score the biggest single success of their career so far with their track 'The Wire', which many reckon sounds uncannily like Shania Twain's infamous hen-night anthem, 'Man, I Feel Like A Woman'. Jessie J enters at No.22 with her track, 'Sexy Lady'. Climbers into the chart include tracks by Demi Lovato, 2 Chainz, Justin Timberlake and Kings Of Leon.
