Alex Turner, singer of Arctic Monkeys has admitted he believes that the fame of being a rockstar has gone to his head during Arctic Monkey's hugely successful career.
2013 has been a massive year for the band, topping the UK album charts, cracking the US Top Ten and headlinging Glastonbury festival, and Turner has confessed the success has almost certainly affected his attitude.
"I'm sure it has fucking gone to me head, to be honest," he tells Q magazine. "How could it not, to some extent? There's certain moments of fucking madness, I suppose, that you have. You have nights where you're like, 'Oh shit, I shouldn't have done that.' "
When asked if there are any particular moments he's speaking of, Turner refused to give away any details, saying that there are too many to mention and that "no one's got a fucking clean sheet when it comes to that shit."
Arctic Monkeys are also tipped to be some of the big winners at this years Q Magazine Awards, with it looking likely that they'll pick up the gong for Best Act in the World Today, as well as being nominated for Best Live Act and Best Track for 'Do I Wanna Know?'
