Lead singer of Depeche Mode Dave Gahan has lent his vocals to a new track by London sextet SixToes. Check it out below.

The song, called 'Low Guns', is an epic six minute string led slow burner that builds into an almost devastating, emotional finale as the as soft guitar and galloping percussion kick in, all led by Gahan's vocals, which sound better than ever.

Listen to 'Low Guns' below:

'Low Guns' is taken from SixToes' second album, The Morning After. When the band released 2009 LP Trick of the Night, they were originally only a trio, but have gained three more members since the release.

Gahan, lead vocalist of 80s electronic legends Depeche Mode, said of the collaboration: "I always really liked the remixes that Six Toes did for Depeche Mode over the years, so when the band reached out to me about working with the band on 'Low Guns', I jumped on the opportunity. The band are exceptionally talented, the song connected with me, and I think the video is inspired and fantastic."

SixToes cellist Anne Carruthers added: "“Dave would always be very positive after listening to our remixes for their Sounds Of The Universe album so we invited him to sing on ‘Low Guns’ and to our delight he immediately said "yes". In fact he went one step further and also added a harmonica part to the end of the track.”

'Low Guns' will be released on the 18th November, with the The Morning After LP to follow in early 2014. SixToes will also be performing at London's St Pancras Old Church on 20th November.
