The first 15,000 Glastonbury tickets sold out in less than 30 minutes when they went on sale yesterday (3 October, 2013), and those lucky enough to snap up the earlies have spoken about their excitement at going to Glasto 2014.
No headliners or details of the 2014 festival have been announced, but fans rushed to snap up the coach and festival entry tickets that went on sale this week. Despite inevitable grumbles about problems purchasing tickets, many festival-goers have now spoken of their shock and surprise at securing entry to next year's biggest UK festival event.
"I am now the proud owner of a little Glastonbury ticket & I am overcome with happiness & excitement fucking yeah!" wrote Chantelle U'Dell.
"Still can't believe im going glastonbury again next year!!" said Jess Eadon.
"So next years Glastonbury tickets are already sorted. Can start planning next summer already. Big tunes and big times," wrote Cal Lewis.
Demand is already huge for Glasto tickets, long before headliners are announced
Henry Roberts revealed he had bought his tickets in the hope of one particular band putting in an appearance, adding: "Still in shock about my spontaneous Glastonbury ticket... COME ON FLEETWOOD MAC."
Meanwhile, with more tickets to go on sale at 9am on Sunday, 6 October 2013, Dan Woulahan added that this was the week to say goodbye to his 2013 summer memories of Glastonbury, writing: "Today's the day the Glastonbury 2013 wristband comes off."
