The first Glastonbury tickets are on sale this week, and while 15,000 were snapped up in less than 30 minutes after going on sale on Wednesday, with the remainder going on sale on Sunday, 6 October 2013. It's going to be a mad rush...

The festival will inevitably be sold out before the end of the weekend, and as ever, all before any bands or artists have been confirmed. Michael Eavis has previously stated that next year's Glastonbury headliners are 'obvious'. But why? Well, because they've never played before - and there are very few acts that you can say that about.

So, amid rumours of David Bowie (although he last played in 2000) and Foo Fighters (they played in 1988 - get over it), we did some digging to find the huge names who have never graced Worthy Farm before but could easily top the Pyramid Stage...
