The battle for this week's No.1 album is set to be incredibly tight, with official figures showing there are just 28 copies between the albums at No.1 and No.2 in the Friday midweeks.

Justin Timberlake is currently on course to claim his second No.1 album of the year with his 20/20 Experience - 2 of 2, but a mere 28 copies separates the slick US star from hugely brilliant US trio, Haim, and their debut album, Days Are Gone. If the 'Take Back the Night' singer is successful in his bid for the No.1 spot, it will be his fourth consecutive number one UK record.

Haim were reported to be 700 copies behind JT earlier this week, but as the weekend approaches, that gap is tightening - and fast.

Meanwhile, on the singles chart new boyband The Vamps' 'Can We Dance' remains on the top spot, with 6,000 sales between their debut single and One Republic's current hit, 'Counting Stars'.
