Dizzee Rascal claims Kanye West isn't a spokesperson for hip-hop, after some recent bizarre behaviour from the rapper.

In a new interview with The Daily Star, the 'Bonkers' star revealed his opinion on West's recent antics and outburst - following his recent bizarre interview with Zane Lowe on BBC Radio One and subsequent Twitter meltdown when he attacked Jimmy Kimmel for mocking him.

"I think he's going through some stuff, man," said Dizzee. "I wouldn't make him the spokesperson for hip-hop right now."

When asked about working on his upcoming new album The Fifth in Miami, Dizzee stressed that he had retained his British grime roots and mentality - but with a 'Latin' twist.

"I spend all day in my Union Jack pants," he said. " A lot of the album is about my experiences in the US. When I'm in Miami there's a few English people there, but there's more of a Latin vibe than an American vibe."
