Azealia Banks has hyped up her long-awaited debut album Broke With Expensive Taste by hailing it as 'the most innovative hip-hop album of the last 10 years and of the next 25 years'.
The record has been five years in the making, and in a new interview with the Au Review in Australia, she challenged Kanye West to better her.
"The album is done, and it's great," said Banks. "It's a really awesome piece of work and I really do think that I have the most innovative hip-hop record that hip-hop has seen in the last 10 years, and for the next 25 years."
She added: "I challenge Kanye West to that - I challenge anyone to that. Broke With Expensive Taste is the most forward, the most new, the most now - it is now. I'm not being bias because I made it, it really is that. When it comes out, you'll be like 'wow this girl really is an artist and really a weirdo'."

Banks recently has revealed why her collaboration with UK duo Disclosure was scrapped from her debut album, claiming she ditched the track after the producers were rude about her.
Azealia Banks announced she has worked with the 'White Noise' stars in June of this year, but despite denials from the rising dance stars that any music had been completed, Banks now claims the track was dropped from her Broke With Expensive Taste album.
She said: "I did something with Disclosure but they were, like, really rude in an interview, so I canned it."
