Erykah Badu took to Twitter over the weekend to wade into the Drake and Kendrick Lamar dispute, seemingly egging on the feud.

The feud began when Lamar's verse on Big Sean's 'Control' was leaked online, causing major waves due to calling out every rapper in the game, including Drake. Drake responded by shrugging off the drama, saying: "I know good and well that Kendrick's not murdering me, at all, in any platform. So when that day presents itself, I guess we can revisit the topic."

Now, in a cypher originally recorded for June's BET Awards, Lamar has reignited the beef, mocking the 'Nothing Was the Same' rapper. "And nothing’s been the same since they dropped 'Control'/And tucked a sensitive rapper back in his pajama clothes/Ha-ha, jokes on you," he rapped.

Enter eccentric R&B singer Erykah Badu, who took to Twitter over the weekend to encourage the beef, telling Drake to hit back at Lamar."Drake, u gotta come-back boy...This HipHop," she wrote. Badu performed alongside Lamar at the BET Awards, lending her vocals to his track 'Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe'.

Both rappers are riding high at the moment, with Drake's third album hitting number one on the Billboard charts, and Kendrick busy collaborating with the likes of Pusha T and Robin Thicke after the critical and commercial success of debut good kid, m.A.A.d city.
