Before finding fame as 'The Sound of 2013', Haim's first taste of fame was in cheesy pop girlband called Valli Girls, the sisters have revealed.
In an interview with The Fader, the sisters reveal their first foray into fame was joining a manafactured girlband called Valli Girls back in 2005, after being spotted playing alongside their family band, Rockinhaim.
Alana, at the age of 11, was too young, but Danielle and Este signed up on the spot. "We were like, We want to play music, we want to be signed. We had never played without our parents before," Danielle told the Fader.

The band released videos for two tracks, 'Listen Up!', and 'It's A Hair Thing', the latter being the theme tune to TV show Trollz. After a performance at the 2005 Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards, the sisters pulled out of their contracts and the rest is history.
Joined by youngest sister Alana, the sisters formed Haim the next year. Their debut album Days Are Gone was released last week to critical acclaim and went in at No.1 in the UK - beating Justin Timberlake to the top spot.
