Kanye West appeared on US TV with famous host Jimmy Kimmel last night, and it was every bit as awkward and uncomfortable as was to be expected.
The pair had recently been engaged in a public feud after Kimmel mocked West in a sketch on his show. The rapper later hit out on Twitter - which was then discussed on live TV. Now, the duo have appeared on TV in a tense interview - which included Kimmel speaking to him about the public's perception of him.
The pair shook hands and hugged as West made his appearance in front of the cameras, and Kanye made a half-hearted apology for his Twitter rant, saying: "At a certain point these egos can flair up and we took it back to high school for a minute."
The rapper looked less than impressed when Kimmel said to him, "I don't know if you know this, but a lot of people think you're a jerk," but Kanye West continued in typical Kanye style, telling Kimmel and his audience "I'm a creative genius and I know you're not supposed to say that."
The interview came to a close after Jimmy Kimmel presented the Yeezus star with a pair of leather sweatpants for his newborn baby North West (poking fun at his Zane Lowe interview).
