Arctic Monkeys were forced to cancel and reschedule their performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live after Kanye West's appearance on the programme overran last night (Wednesday 9 October).
The Sheffield band were the anticipated musical guests on the US talk show last night to peform tracks from new album AM, but last minute interviewee Kanye West inevitably talked for so long that Alex Turner and co were bumped from the schedule.
West made a surprise appearance on the show following the much-publicised feud between him and Jimmy Kimmel after the comedian poked fun at the rapper in a skit parodying West's now infamous interview with Zane Lowe. Kanye took to Twitter to slam Kimmel, calling him a "manipulative media motherfucker", in a series of furious tweets, which he then deleted.

However, the pair called a truce on last night's show, during a fairly uncomfortable interview in which West made a half-hearted apology about his abusive tweets, admitting: "At a certain point these egos can flair up and we took it back to high school for a minute."
Other highlights including Kimmel calling West a "jerk", Kanye responding by calling himself a "creative genius", and saying girlfriend Kim Kardashian deserves a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
It's still yet to be announced when Arctic Monkeys' performance will be rescheduled for.
