As a lasting reminder of the New Zealand leg of her world tour, Rihanna got a traditional Maori tattoo on her hand before she left the country. Watch below.
The 'Diamonds' singer stopped by a local tattoo parlour to have the procedure, known as Ta Moko, performed. Ta Moko tattoos are given using a chisel, mallet and ink pigments, and are a part of traditional Polynesian culture.

The video was filmed by local musician Tiki Taane and tattoo artist Inia Taylor. The R&B superstar winces and grimaces at points during the two minute long footage, but takes the pain like a pro. Rather her than us.
Rihanna's 'Diamonds' world tour is now headed to South Africa. The singer has stirred up controversy in recent days by releasing some incredibly NSFW visuals for Unapologetic track 'Pour It Up', and comparing the paparazzi to Nazis on her Instagram account.
